Birka Jazz is located in Stockholm, Sweden. Our company was established back in 1975 and we are one of the leading European specialists on vinyl jazz records. Our record business started in a street shop at Birkagatan in the city of Stockholm, from there our name Birka Jazz comes. Otherwise the word "Birka" dates back to the Viking Age, being the main city and commercial center of Sweden a thousend years ago.
Today the street shop is closed down and the business is concentrated to Internet.
Beside the vinyl we also sell second hand CDs and books. Mostly jazz, but also some related music like blues and soul.
